Mission Statement of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony,

One of the oldest fully-professional orchestras in the State of Connecticut, founded in 1945 as a 501 (C) 3 Not-for-Profit Corporation
 

  • To celebrate, educate, inspire, and provide excellence in musical programming in the Greater Bridgeport community
     

  • To be a premier musical organization, which is artistically respected and financially secure, through the development of creative programming, larger and more diverse audiences, and broadened funding bases

 

The GBSO is grateful for contributions to its Annual Fund Campaign. Each gift plays an important part in the success of the Orchestra’s programs. Ticket sales pay for only 28% of the GBS total operating budget.  By bridging the gap between expenses and ticket revenues, the Annual Fund provides critical support for all orchestra activities.  To make a donation, please complete form below and send your check or credit card information to:  The Greater Bridgeport Symphony, 446 University Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604.  (The form may also be faxed to  203-367-0064).
